Ante la necesidad de intercambiar bienes y productos, el Qhapaq \u00d1an comenz\u00f3 como un camino tropero que conectaba a las distintas comunidades ind\u00edgenas de cada zona. Con el surgimiento del Cusco como el nuevo centro administrativo y pol\u00edtico de las poblaciones, el imperio Inca comenz\u00f3 un proceso de expansi\u00f3n de su poder\u00edo basado en el intercambio de provisiones los cuales se realizaban a trav\u00e9s de esta ruta.\u202f<\/p>\n

Este camino alguna vez fue utilizado por los Incas para la expansi\u00f3n territorial, manteniendo cierta autonom\u00eda de cada comunidad que conquistaban; as\u00ed, los que eran jefes se llamar\u00edan Carangas, y ahora eran los jefes de cada comunidad. Eran los encargados de pagar los impuestos para acceder al camino y titulares de ciertos privilegios.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Los Incas eligieron a sus mejores arquitectos cusque\u00f1os para ampliar este camino de pastores, reconociendo el terreno y obteniendo los mejores materiales, permitiendo as\u00ed el origen del Qhapaq \u00d1an.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
