Un problema muy com\u00fan es la existencia de un cauce de agua que corta el camino, por lo que se debi\u00f3 crear una t\u00e9cnica en la cual el agua podr\u00eda seguir su curso sin necesariamente interrumpir el recorrido del famoso camino del Inca. Los tramos del Qhapaq \u00d1an que atravesaban la Cordillera de los Andes pose\u00edan un sistema de drenado y canales laterales que lograron su correcto funcionamiento a pesar de las frecuentes lluvias.<\/span><\/p>\n

Log bridges:<\/strong> La forma m\u00e1s r\u00fastica y sencilla, en la cual simplemente se utilizan troncos de \u00e1rboles para unir dos puntos cercanos. Un buen ejemplo de esto es el \"Puente Inca\" en Machu Picchu<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Suspension bridges:<\/strong> Eran com\u00fanmente hechos de paja y pod\u00edan alcanzar hasta 60 metros de longitud. Deb\u00edan ser renovados cada cierto tiempo debido al desgaste que se produc\u00eda. El m\u00e1s famoso ejemplo es el puente inca de Queswachaka.<\/span><\/p>\n
