Para que la UNESCO valide cualquier bien natural como Patrimonio Mundial, es necesario pasar por varios criterios para ver si el bien refleja realmente la evoluci\u00f3n del propio concepto de Patrimonio Mundial. Estos criterios se clasifican en 10, pero el Qhapaq \u00d1an fue inscrito en la Lista del Patrimonio Mundial bajo los criterios II, III, IV y VI, siendo aceptado en la Convenci\u00f3n para la Protecci\u00f3n del Patrimonio Mundial Cultural y Natural.<\/p>\n
