Le cadre juridique qui \u00e9tablit la protection des biens culturels au Chili est r\u00e9glement\u00e9 par la loi 17.288 des monuments nationaux de 1970. Le Conseil des monuments nationaux a \u00e9galement pris part \u00e0 la question m\u00eame avant que la r\u00e9glementation n'existe, pour 1970 le CMN compos\u00e9 de vingt directeurs et huit conseillers comme un organe coll\u00e9gial sur la question qui nommerait un secr\u00e9taire ex\u00e9cutif, dont la responsabilit\u00e9 serait de pr\u00e9parer les proc\u00e8s-verbaux des sessions du Conseil, qui se tiendraient une fois par mois. Aujourd'hui, le CMN compte un peu moins de 100 personnes et une certaine repr\u00e9sentation r\u00e9gionale, bien que la loi ne pr\u00e9voie pas de r\u00e9gionalisation effective.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
